The gaming technology company is planning to occupy the top three levels of Brookfield’s under-construction Elizabeth Quay tower.

Gaming technology firm VGW Holdings is planning a move to Brookfield’s Nine The Esplanade in Elizabeth Quay, industry sources have revealed.
The Laurence Escalante-led business has signed a heads of agreement with Brookfield Properties to occupy the top three floors of the 19-storey tower, which is due for completion in 2025.
VGW Holdings is currently across three floors at Centuria Capital Group’s Australia Place on William Street, which has 1,250 square metre floor plates, compared with 1,870sqm at Nine The Esplanade.
Business News understands that the company has made the call following a period of growth.
Brookfield declined to comment on the move, but said it was actively engaging with prospective tenants to move into the space.
Once a lease has been signed, VGW Holdings will join Multiplex, EY and Argonaut in the tower, next to One The Esplanade, completed earlier this year.
Argonaut was the latest company to announce it would move to Nine The Esplanade, which is being developed as a joint venture with Cbus Property.
Nine The Esplanade sits on Lot 6 in Elizabeth Quay, alongside Brookfield’s Lot 5, where the property giant is planning a 55-storey hotel, residential and office tower.
Brookfield has not yet committed to a start date on Lot 5, and it is understood the developer is in talks with hotel operators.
VGW Holdings declined to comment.
