US stocks have finished slightly lower, little-affected by a sharp selloff in Asian and European markets led by the 7.3 per cent plunge of Japan's Nikkei 225 index.The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 12.67 (0.08 per cent) to 15,294.50 on Thursday.
