THE state government plans to build three wind turbines at Coral Bay at a cost of $9.6 million. The 275-kilowatt cyclone-proof turbines are expected to supply 40 per cent of Coral Bay’s energy needs by the end of 2007, and will involve new technologies developed in Western Australia.
