Townsend to lead Peak

Darren Townsend has been appointed managing director of Tanzanian minerals explorer Peak Resources.

Mr Townsend was most recently president of TSX-listed Pacific Wildcat Resources Corp, and is a former general manager of the tantalum mine at Wodgina.

Executive chairman Alastair Hunger will now resume his non-executive position.
