This week's property round-up

All the numbers were a bit more subdued this week with sales coming off last week’s peak and listings growth slowing.

Overall reported sales were off 8% this week to 797, their lowest in four weeks.

All components fell with house sales coming off 5% after growing steadily since late October whilst multi-residential activity fell 9% from last week’s two month high.

The rapid growth in listings over the past few weeks slowed to just 2% this week with a 3% increase in houses listed taking total listings to 13,264.

After a lift in late October, rental listings remain flat at just over 6,000.
