State opposition heads for showdown

WEST Australian opposition leader Matt Birney and his leadership challenger Paul Omodei appear set for a leadership showdown tomorrow. Mr Birney and Mr Omodei spent the week shoring up their respective numbers for what observers predict will be a close run race.
