A rise in the gold price has delivered resources stocks a boost and helped to lift the local sharemarket.At 1020 AEST the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was 8.5 points, or 0.17 per cent, at 5,010.4, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 8.9 points, or 0.18 per cent, at 4,997.8.
