Perth-based Southern Cross Electrical Engineering has announced a series of contract wins for its subsidiaries, valued around $125 million.
Graeme Dunn-led SCEE, which generated $551.8 million of revenue during the 2024 financial year, told the market the projects, which span across several sectors, in New South Wales, Western Australia and Victoria.
One of SCEE’s contract gains will be providing a comprehensive electrical works at the Alkimos-based seawater desalination plant, along with the Mt Keith west network upgrade network project in the Goldfields.
From an interstate perspective, SCEE’s subsidiary MDE Group has also secured a contract to provide electrical and communication services at a new underground rail station within Sydney’s metropolitan train network.
“This announcement, with works on a new desalination plant in WA, and major transport projects in Victoria and NSW, clearly demonstrates SCEE’s broad exposure to Australian infrastructure expenditure,” Mr Dunn said.
“I am also pleased we have won further works from NextDC in the very buoyant data centre sector and to be announcing on behalf of our recent MDE acquisition their first significant award under our ownership.”
In July, SCEE secured an additional $50 million contract at Synergy's Collie battery project, following on from its exisiting $160 million deal in May.
SCEE closed trade up 9 per cent to $1.51.
