Rottnest Authority chair appointed

WA Tourism Commission deputy chairman Laurie O’Meara has been appointed as chair of the Rottnest Island Authority, after acting in the position for a year. Mr O’Meara was appointed to the authority in 2000 and is also a board member of the Perth International Arts Festival.
