Poynton leaves Austal

WA shipbuilder Austal has advised that deputy chairman John Poynton has resigned from the board, to focus on his other business and not-for-profit work.

Mr Poynton joined Austal as a director in August 1998.

He remains chairman of Azure Capital, Giving West and Celebrate WA, and a director of Swan Gold Mining.
