Mining services group Perenti is set to pocket $150 million worth of work after securing contracts from Regis Resources, BHP and Catalyst Metals.
The Perth-based contractor won a six-month contract extension worth $70 million for underground development and production works at Regis’ Garden Well and Rosemont underground gold mines at its Duketon project in the Goldfields.
Perenti said through its subsidiary Barminco it would continue to collaboratively progress further and material contract extensions at the two gold mines.
The group secured a $27 million contract for exploration surface drilling services at the BHP Mitsubishi Alliance in Queensland over a 24-month term.
Perenti also notched a $14 million contract over 24-months for underground diamond drilling activities at Catalyst Metal’s Plutonic underground gold mine northeast of Meekatharra.
The group, in conjunction with its JV partner Rocksure International, has received a limited notice to process for initial underground development at Newmont’s Akyem gold mine in Ghana.
Once the contract terms are ironed out, Perenti expects the contract award to be worth $32 million over an 11-month term.
“The award of these contracts and the limited notice to process across both our underground and surface mining business demonstrated the diversity of our service offering and the strength of the relationships we share with our clients,” managing director Mark Norwell said.
“Collectively these three contracts and the limited notice to process represent nearly $150 million of revenue across FY24 and into FY25 and come after the recent announcement in which Perenti secured $360 million of revenue at the Sandfire Resources A4 project in Botswana.”
Perenti’s shares were trading down 1.21 per cent to $1.012 at 11AM AWST.
