THE Perth Convention Exhibition Centre has been recognised as the best facility of its kind in the country, winning the highly coveted ‘Meetings & Business Tourism’ title at the 2005 Australian Tourism Awards. More than 840,500 visitors attended around 687 events in the venue’s first 18 months.
