New authority for rural industries

Kerry McAuliffe has been appointed as chairman of the Western Australian Meat Industry Authority, following the decision from Dr Martine Pop not to seek reappointment. Wayne Obst has also been appointed as the new chair of the Grains Licensing Authority.
