Navitas extends La Trobe agreement

Education provider Navitas has extended its collaboration with La Trobe University, signing a 10-year renewal for its international student partnership.

The partnership allows international students to take La Trobe courses at a Navitas-managed campus in Sydney.

Under the renewed agreement, the Navitas-managed La Trobe campus will be relocated to Navitas' Wynyard Green building in inner-Sydney. 

Navitas flagged in October this year that it was facing increased corporate property costs as a result of surplus lease space in Wynyard Green not being as marketable as the original lease term neared completion.

"This is being addressed progressively by group entities taking space upon expiry of their existing leases," the company said at the time.

Navitas shares closed the day's trade 2 cents lower at $5.85.
