Monadelphous has secured a handful of contracts valued at $220 million, while subsidiaries of NRW Holdings have extended a fleet contract worth up to $1.2 billion.
Golding Contractors, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NRW Holdings, signed a contract with a subsidiary of Coronado Global Resources extending a six fleet mining services contract to the end of 2026.
The value of the contract is estimated at $1.2 billion, taking the value of the group's work to around $5 billion.
Golding will need to spend $46 million on new equipment during the contract period.
NRW chief executive Jules Pemberton commented on the contract win.
"I am delighted that the Golding team have now executed the contract with Coronado," Mr Pemberton said.
"This agreement continues the long and successful relationship Golding have established at the Curragh Mine since first commencing on the site in 2014."
New work added to Monadelphous' order book included a five year contract at Fortescue Metals Group’s operations in the Pilbara, as well as a multi-disciplinary contract with Rio Tinto to build a new conveyor at the Tom Price iron ore mine.
The company was also awarded work involving a pipeline and access road at the Roy Hill Mine, coating and concrete repairs with Water Corporation and a 12-month extension on BHP Mitsubishi Alliance's shutdown operations in the Bowen Basin.
NRW shares closed the day 3.2 per cent higher at $1.78.
Monadelphous shares closed up 0.71 per cent at $9.87.
