Mining boom two years from end

THE mining boom has one or two more years to run, according to a report from economic forecaster and industry analyst BIS Shrapnel. The company’s ‘Mining in Australia, 2006 to 2021’ report forecast investment to rise another 11 per cent over the next two years, peaking in 2007-08.
