Mermaid calls off P&O merger plans

Fremantle-based marine services company Mermaid Marine Australia Ltd has reversed an earlier decision to merge with Dubai Ports World subsidiary P&O Maritime Services Pty Ltd, saying the previous conditions were no longer appropriate.
