Mineral exploration company Western Yilgarn has announced the departure of Gavin Rutherford as general manager.
Gavin Rutherford has departed as general manager of mineral exploration company Western Yilgarn, it was announced on Wednesday.
Craig Moulton has been appointed to fill the position on a six-month managing consultant contract.
“There is significant shareholder value to be unlocked in the Ida Holmes, Julimar West and Boodanoo projects, and I am looking forward to working with the board, which is keenly focused on growing its business well beyond its current value,” Mr Moulton said.
“I look forward to being part of that journey.”
Last week, the junior told the market it had executed a binding farm-in and joint venture agreement with Bellpark Minerals – a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitre Mining – in relation to two tenements contiguous to its existing Ida Holmes project, located south-west of Leinster.
Under the agreement, North Perth-based Western Yilgarn can earn a 95 per cent stake in both tenements during a two-year farm-in period, once it spends $120,000 on exploration expenditure.
Western Yilgarn last traded at 3.3 cents per share.
