Engineering services company LogiCamms has appointed Peter Watson as non executive chairman and Giles Everist as a non executive director.
Mr Watson was previously chief executive of global services group Transfield Services, a position he held from 1999 until 2009. Prior to taking over as chief executive, he undertook a variety of project and management roles with the company.
Mr Everist has 20 years experience in executive financial roles with Coopers and Lybrand, Rio Tinto, Fluor Australia and more recently Monodelphous Group where he was chief financial officer until 2009.
Mr Everist's appointment to the LogiCamms Board is effective immediately.
Mr Watson will replace David Humann, who announced his intention to step down as non executive chairman, and he will retire from the board in November.
Mr Humann said, "Peter and Giles represent highly credentialed board members whose combined experience will add enormous value to the Company as it strives towards delivering value for LogiCamms' shareholders and its vision of becoming a market leader delivering outstanding customer solutions".
"While the company has continued to invest in an appropriate platform to realise this potential, some softness in the financial performance of its northern operations has been experienced in the first quarter of calendar year 2011. This was as a result of the impact of the floods and cyclone, particularly on the timing of contract awards. However, whilst the Company continues to see ongoing expansion of project opportunities, it continues to monitor the situation," Mr Humann said.
