Xstate Resources managing director Gary Jeffery has been appointed to the board of the California-focused Australian Oil Company.
Mr Jeffery has spent nearly four decades in the oil, gas and energy industries, including general manager roles at Tap Oil, AWE and Griffin Energy.
He has also held senior management roles at Arc Energy, Normandy Mining (the precursor to Newmont), and Hadson Energy (now Apache).
