International Goldfields non-executive chairman Tony Sage and non-executive director Bernard Aylward have resigned from the board, following the recent divestment of the company’s West African assets as part of a refocus in its activities.
Current director Mark Gwynne will temporarily fill the position of non-executive chairman until a permanent replacement is found.
In addition, PPR national director of investor relations David Tasker has been appointed as a non-executive director, and IGS chief executive officer Travis Schwertfeger has joined the board as managing director.
