Edge Visionary Living has closed in on the commercial tenants for its $170 million Riviere Residences in Applecross, engaging the operator behind successful restaurants in Perth's north.
The developer has contracted four owners or tenants for its food and beverage outlets on the ground floor of the 217-apartment project at 59 Canning Beach Road.
It comes as two towers are completed with the third to start construction next week, Business News understands.
Among the tenancies to open are a café and bakery, fine dining, and a tapas bar.
A restaurant, named The Heart Applecross, will be an upscale gastro pub with a 485 square metre tavern and an alfresco area.
The Heart Applecross has an estimated 300-person capacity.
The Riviere will also house Bar Ole, a tapas bar anticipated to accommodate about 200 people.
Both premises are expected to open in late 2025, documents filed to the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries show.
The applicant for both The Heart and Bar Ole is Ryan Esqulant and wife Nikki, who operate Iluka Bar + Kitchen and Hillarys Beach Club.
The Heart Applecross and Bar Ole would be sister-venues to the Esqulants’ restaurants in Perth’s north, according to the documents.
Riviere Residences initially had a price tag of $110 million but the cost has been listed as $170 million in the latest documents filed to the DLGSCI.
