Good Drinks Australia is planning to spend around $500,000 on its flagship venue, Gage Roads Fremantle, during the 2025 financial year.
The John Hoedemaker-led parent company said the money would be put towards venue refreshment and upgrades at the site.
Gage Roads Fremantle, fast becoming a major tourist attraction to locals and out-of-state visitors, continues to meet expectations for Good Drinks – with its revenue increasing by 3 per cent during the first quarter of the 2025 financial year, compared with 12 months prior.
During the 2024 financial year, the venue also contributed $6 million towards the company’s overall earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization for the 12-month period.
More broadly, Good Drinks’ core business experienced an overall year-to-date volume growth of 9 per cent, despite the overall retail beer market taking a 4 per cent hit.
“This has been another strong performance by Good Drinks, with excellent growth results being a validation of our market share strategy,” Mr Hoedemaker said.
“To continue to achieve substantial volume sales growth against a backdrop of overall market decline, demonstrates the effectiveness of this strategy and the strength of the company's brands.”
Good Drinks closed trade up 5 per cent to 29 cents.
