Fleetwood Corporation Ltd has announced a restructuring of its top management with former Austal Ltd chief executive Bob McKinnon being appointed to a head office role as executive director, where he will work with the group's long-standing managing director Greg Tate.
The company also announced that executive director Steve Gill would move into a non-executive role.

In accordance with Fleetwood Corporation Limited's ongoing management succession plan the following executive changes are announced.
Effective 1 December 2006 Steve Gill is to become a non executive director of Fleetwood Corporation Limited.
Steve was appointed as an executive director of Fleetwood in 1990 and has been an executive of the company since 1975.
In his non executive director role Steve, in conjunction with managing director Greg Tate, will be responsible for identifying and evaluating acquisition opportunities for the Fleetwood group.
The board of directors takes this opportunity to acknowledge and thank Steve for the significant contribution he has made over many years to the growth and success of Fleetwood.
Bob McKinnon was appointed as a non executive director of Fleetwood Corporation in July 2005.
He took up an executive role in September 2005 to fill a temporary vacancy as CEO of the manufactured accommodation division.
With the appointment of a CEO for the manufactured accommodation division and the move of Steve Gill to a non executive role Bob will take up an executive director's role at Fleetwood's corporate headquarters.
In his role he will retain responsibility for the manufactured accommodation division and Greg Tate will be responsible for the recreational vehicles division.
