Fisheries gets new chief

PETER Millington’s position as acting chief executive of the Fisheries Department has been rescinded, after the Corruption & Crime Commission found that he tipped off a suspected illegal fisherman about a departmental inquiry. Mr Millington had been on leave while the CCC inquiry proceeded.
