Fenske appointed BWS MD

Endeavour Group has appointed Jeanette Fenske as managing director of BWS, who will begin the role early next year.

The appointment follows news back in June that Scott Davidson had announced his intention to depart.

Mr Davidson will leave Endeavour Group later this year.

Ms Fenske, who is a director of stores at Woolworths Supermarkets, has more than 35 years of retail experience.

Within this period, 20 of those years have been with either Woolworths Group or South Africa-based Clicks Group.

"She  is  a seasoned retail operator who joined Woolworths almost 10 years ago as assistant state general manager, before being promoted to lead the eCommerce online operations  and Last  Mile business in Woolies X, Endeavour's interim chief executive Kate Beattie said. 

"Prior to joining Woolworths, Jeanette spent over a decade in operations and supply chain roles with leading South African retailer Clicks Group. 
 
“With a strong retail background and experience in leading transformational change, Jeanette is well placed to lead BWS through its next phase of growth." 

Endeavour last traded at $3.64, as of 8.22am AWST.
