FAIRFAX Media Ltd will acquire radio stations 6PR and 96FM after signing a deal with Macquarie Media Group for the radio assets of Southern Cross Broadcasting Ltd. The deal paves the way for a return by Fairfax to major metropolitan radio markets for the first time in 20 years.
