Ms Robinson, who has been on the board since April 24 last year, will succeed Richard Grellman, who will remain as a non-executive director.
Along with previously being appointed chair of FBR between 2015 and 2018, Ms Robinson is also presently chair of Yojee Limited.
Additionally, Rhys Waldon will begin as FBR’s company secretary from May 1, taking over from Aidan Flynn.
Wednesday’s market update follows on from news earlier this month that the High Wycombe-based company had made a series of cost-cutting changes in order to meet the current needs of the business.
This included the retirement of chief executive and managing director, Mike Pivac, on April 11.
The company confirmed that Mark Pivac, a co-founder of the company, would transition to the CEO role.
