CIVIL contractor Brierty Ltd has appointed former United Group Ltd executive manager Stuart Croft as its new chief executive to take over from company founder Alan Brierty. Mr Croft was previously executive general manager of United Group Resources Pty Ltd, a division of United Group, and has worked with major clients including BHP Billiton, Woodside, Water Corporation, Alcoa and Fortescue Metals Group
