Kopore Metals’ Ghanzi West project in Botswana is starting to show its true colours, with two regional scale copper-lead-zinc geochemical soil anomalies identified over a 12 square kilometre area at the emerging KM1 magnetic anomaly.
The results are impressive and coincide with a recently interpreted ground EM conductor and a zone of intense structural folding, known to host economic mineralisation elsewhere in the Kalahari copper belt.
The company says the geology of KM1, combined with favourable geophysics and coherent anomalous base metal geochemical soil assay results, ranks the area as a high value drill target.
Kopore Managing Director Grant Ferguson said: “The KM1 copper-lead-zinc soil anomalies, further confirms the high prospectivity for base metals across the Company’s Ghanzi West licences. The KM1 prospect has become one of the Company’s highest rank targets, across its rapidly evolving portfolio.”

The company has also recently completed a regional soil sampling program at KM2, southwest of KM1, with results expected to be announced later this month.
Final preparations are underway for Kopore’s maiden RAB and RC drilling program across the KM1, KM2 and KM3 conductor targets with drilling to commence at the KM3 target in late June.
Regionally, Kopore has initiated soil sampling programs across its GW3 and Okwa prospects.
Kopore looks to be hitting it straps now in Botswana with exploration underway across multiple fronts in this revered base metals region.
