Cirrus wins Bethanie project

Recently-listed IT company Cirrus Networks has won a contract to provide its services to aged care provider Bethanie for an undisclosed sum.

In a statement, Cirrus said while the terms of the deal were confidential, they were in line with previously announced contracts, such as its $600,000 managed services contract signed with Richmond Wellbeing in October.

Cirrus also announced it had been awarded ‘panel status’ for ICT services by the Department of Finance.

“This allows the company to directly engage with all WA state government agencies to promote and sell its professional services capability,” the company said.

“This has been a market where the company has been unable to sell previously, so it represents a major opportunity for further business growth.”

Cirrus managing director Frank Richmond said the healthcare sector had been a major focus for the company to secure business.

“I’m delighted to announce Bethanie as a new customer,” he said.

“The team has also worked tirelessly to construct our bid to gain panel status for ICT services for WA state government agencies.

“Being successful in our bid is a major milestone for the company.”

Cirrus shares were 6.6 per cent lower to 2.8 cents each at 11:30am.
