Former Iluka Resources managing director Mike Folwell has been appointed chairman and non-executive director of Gunson Resources.
Didier Murcia has been appointed non-executive director.
Bill Bloking has stepped down as managing director, but will remain as a non-executive director.
Current Genesis Minerals non-executive chairman and Centaurus Metals non-executive director, Richard Hill, will take over as managing director at Gunson.
Meanwhile, David Craig and Garret Dixon will retire from the board as non-executive directors.
The changes to the board follow Gunson’s acquisition of Strandlines Resources for $2.5 million, under which it will assume the name of its target, pending shareholder approval.
