Cash rate on hold as outlook improves

The Reserve Bank of Australia has kept the cash rate at 4.25 per cent after its March board meeting, citing improved economic conditions.RBA governor Glenn Stevens said Australia's economic growth is close to trend and inflation is within its target range of two to three per cent.
