SHELL Australia chairman, Russell Caplan, has resigned as a Shell-nominated director on the board of Woodside Petroleum Ltd. Mr Caplan was appointed as chairman of the Shell Companies in Australia when he returned from Europe in January 2006, and in February was appointed to the board of Woodside.
