Cape Lambert Resources says its Marampa iron ore project in Sierra Leone will cost $US1.5 billion ($A1.47 billion) to develop.The company says stage one production is planned at two million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), expanding to 10Mtpa within two years under stage two of the project.
