IT consultancy Brennan says its WA workforce will double in the coming months after several large government and resources contract wins.
The firm, which entered WA in 2022 followings its acquisition of local IT services provider MOQDigital, plans to double its staff numbers over the coming year.
Brennan state manager Basil Lenzo, a 2010 40Under40 winner, said the firm expected the contract wins would spur growth in its WA headcount.
"We've made a deliberate and sustained investment in Western Australia, and the results are now materialising," he said.
"With the strong demand for modern end-to-end IT services from WA organisations who are looking to scale, digitise, and improve cybersecurity, we expect we will have a tea of more than 100 skilled technology professionals in Perth within the next two years."
Mr Lenzo, a former Zetta chief executive and founder of Datacom, said contracts recently won included Monadelphous, HanRoy and Peet.
"In a further vote of confidence, we have also recently been appointed to the Western Australian Government's technology infrastructure and solutions panel, enabling us to offer government agencies our high-quality systems integrator solutions," he said.
"This is a testament to our end-to-end solutions and capabilities, true performance delivery and commitment to creating real and relevant value for Western Australian businesses and their end users.
"We expect that the business growth in Western Australia is set to build momentum, based on our commitment to service excellence, and that in the coming years we will be an office with a skilled team of more than a hundred."
Recent work the firm did for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA was an example of the transformation the firm can offer, Mr Lenzo said.
"CCIWA's IT systems were out of date. On-remises servers and legacy systems were slowing down processes, costing the business money, and preventing a shift towards more flexible working," he said.
"By delivering the an up-to-date IT system through a digital transformation that streamlines processes in the cloud, they had a fully visible and full manageable IT system.
"As a result, they were able to reduce logged jobs by 70 per cent, drastically reducing time spent on IT issues while enabling remote working and increased cyber security."
