Board Moves July 27, 2023

Calima Energy has appointed its non-executive director Karl DeMong as president and chief executive of Blackspur Oil, which it acquired in April 2021. He takes over from founder Jordan Kevol who is moving on to other opportunities and investments that he has within the oil & gas sector. Calima has also appointed Graham Veale as chief operating officer of Blackspur Oil, a promotion from his previous role as vice president of engineering.

Mineral Commodities has appointed Scott Lowe as chief executive from September. Mr Lowe is a senior mining executive with over 35 years of experience across a wide range of commodities and countries. Adam Bick, who has been interim CEO since January this year, will continue in his role as chief financial officer.
