Battery Age Minerals has appointed Gerry Fahey and Dr David Pevcic as non-executive directors, and advised of the resignation of Sufian Ahmad as non-executive chair. Mr Fahey has over 40 years of experience within the international and local minerals industry and is a specialist in mining geology, mine development and training. Dr Pevcic is a successful businessman, founding director of several privately-owned mineral exploration companies, with a principal focus on the mining and resources sector.
Celsius Resources has appointed Paul Dudley as non-executive director. Mr Dudley is a financial advisor with over 25 years of business experience across various sectors including natural resources, corporate finance, regulatory and financial services. He also has financial expertise in the UK markets and serves as a director of companies listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Lazaros Nikeas has resigned as non-executive director of Eden Innovations. Mr Nikeas is based in the US and was appointed to the board in May 2018.
I Synergy Group has appointed Mohammad Ali Shah as chief executive, taking over from Kevin Coutinho who has resigned after 5 months in the role, and Dato’ Lawrence Teo as executive chair. Mr Shah has a decade of senior management experience with public-listed and private companies, and sits on several advisory panels of startups and development organisations. He is tasked with driving adoption of the company’s wyde product throughout South-East Asia. Dato’ Teo was the chief executive and managing director of I Synergy until October 2022 but remained with the company as a strategic advisor.
NEXION Group has appointed current chief financial officer John Bell as a director, and Peter Christie will transition from a non-executive chair to the roles of executive chair and interim chief executive following the resignation of co-founder Paul Glass from the CEO role. Kevin Read, co-founder and alternate director for Mr Glass, will also depart by mutual agreement.
Surefire Resources has appointed Paul Burton as managing director from 6 February. Mr Burton is an experienced geologist, chief executive and managing director with a career spanning 30 years in exploration and mining for a range of different commodities. He has worked throughout Australia & internationally and is an experienced professional in critical minerals projects, notably vanadium & battery minerals.
