Troy chairman David Dix acknowledged Mr Benson’s service before the latter’s departure today.

“We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”
Mr Benson has been at the company since 2007.
The company expects to finalise Mr Benson’s replacement in coming weeks, and already has reached a short list of successors.
In the interim, Mr Dix is acting as interim chief executive officer.
