The Australian share market has opened nearly half a per cent higher.
At 1010 AEST on Wednesday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 24.0 points, or 0.46 per cent, at 5,230.8, while the broader All Ordinaries index was 22.8 points, or 0.44 per cent, at 5,229.1.
On the ASX 24, the September share price index futures contract was up 19 points at 5,228, with 6,014 contracts traded.
