Suzy Montandon has been permanently appointed to the position of general counsel across Tattarang and Minderoo Foundation. Since joining Tattarang and Minderoo in 2020, Ms Montandon has been deputy general counsel and group company secretary. She has been acting general counsel since Jason Ricketts' departure in December. Prior to Tattarang and Minderoo, Ms Montandon worked with publicly listed entities and top tier legal professional practices in Perth and the United Kingdom, as well as her own legal advisory consultancy.
Adam Robinson has been appointed managing director of Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) in the Perth office. Mr Robinson comes with over 20 years of expertise in cost planning, contract administration and risk management. He joined RLB in 2002 and has played a pivotal role in shaping Perth’s construction landscape, leading major projects across aged care, sporting and entertainment, defense, education and civic development, including leading RLB’s project team on the restoration of Perth’s State Buildings.
National digital transformation company Wild Tech has appointed Dirk Vorster to lead its Western Australia practice. Perth-based Mr Vorster will focus on strengthening business development and industry alliances, working closely with Wild Tech CEO Grant Wild. Mr Vorster brings leadership experience from Harvestaire and Fusion5 and expertise in business development, strategic alliances, and enterprise technology. This appointment follows the recent addition of Dan Whittle as general manager of managed services last month.
Olga Havnen and Josh Gilbert have been promoted and reappointed, respectively, to roles on Indigenous Business Australia's board. Ms Havnen has been escalated to deputy chair after her appointment to the Indigenous Business Australia board in December 2024, while Mr Gilbert has been reappointed as board director, which extends his commitment to the board since April 2022. Ms Havnen previously served as a director of the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation, Clontarf Foundation and Stars Foundation.
The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) has appointed four directors to the national board, including Western Australia’s Kylie Hansen. Amy Crawford (ACT), Donna Digby (Northern Territory), and David Hardie (New South Wales) have also been appointed to the board. Ms Hansen’s strengths are in sustainability, governance and harnessing impact measurement to support collaborative initiatives across sectors working to improve social outcomes. FRRR is a national foundation specifically focussed on ensuring the social and economic strength of Australia’s remote, rural and regional communities.
Yolandie Nell has been appointed to national head of technical audit at Moore Australia following her 20-plus years of audit experience in Australia and South Africa. Her experience includes 17 years in a technical role at one of the big four. In her new role she will lead Moore Australia’s technical audit function, focusing on focus on audit quality, performance and improvement, and supporting audit professionals across the network.
