$A lower on regional markets

The Australian dollar has closed weaker in-line with regional market and currency performances, and ahead of a crucial reading for US growth.At 1700 AEDT, the local currency was trading at 103.12 US cents, down from 103.76 cents on Thursday, which was its highest position for a week.
