$A higher as rate cut looks less likely

The Australian dollar is higher, as traders focused on next week's central bank board meeting and the decreasing expectations that there will be an interest rate cut.At 1700 AEDT, the local unit was trading at 103.77 US cents, up from 103.43 cents yesterday.
