After spending 10 years in the New South Wales Police Force, Yasmin London has dealt with the real life consequences of online abuse experienced by young people. She has been a specialist youth liaison with the NSW police for over 6 years and was awarded runner up NSW Youth Officer of the Year in 2015. With extensive experience in the legalities of the technology terrain, mental health intervention and youth in crisis, Ms London regularly advises and consults to government, schools, parents and youth advocacy agencies on cyber safety education and response. She is the co-founder of REELise, a not-for-profit anti-bullying and mental health promotion charity that helps young people connect and express themselves through pocket film making, and encourages the use of technology to improve wellbeing and resilience.
