Tye Burt

Tye Burt spent more than 30 years in the global mining and finance industries, in both executive management roles and as a board member.

From 2005 to 2012, Mr Burt was the president and chief executive of Kinross Gold Corporation. Prior to Kinross Gold, he was the vice chair and executive director of Corporate Development at Barrick Gold Corporation, chair of Deutsche Bank Canada and Deutsche Bank Securities Canada, global managing director for global metals and mining at Deutsche Bank AG, and managing director & co-head of global mining group at BMO Nesbitt Burns.
