Trent Passmore has experience working for plaintiffs and defendants over a range of insurance related matters principally in the workers’ compensation or employers’ indemnity, personal injury and public liability areas, as well as more complex disputes involving multiple dates of injury or multiple employer/insurer situations, and indemnity disputes. He also has experience in motor vehicle accident and criminal injury compensation claims. Mr Passmore has worked with numerous national and international insurers, self-insurers, brokers and their clients, and plaintiff clients. He has acted for clients in the construction, mining, oil and gas, retail, industrial, health care, hospitality, manufacturing, professional services, state government and local government sectors.
Mr Passmore regularly appears at WorkCover WA and the District Court. He has also appeared as counsel in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, District Court of Western Australia, Conciliation and Arbitration Service – WorkCover WA and the State Administrative Tribunal.
