Following a successful career as a principal investigator and commercial manager of the Centre for Drug Design and Development at the University of Queensland, Dr Tracie Ramsdale co-founded drug discovery and development company Alchemia and was its chief executive for almost 10 years. During that time, she was responsible for multiple financing transactions and licensing the company's technology to international pharmaceutical and manufacturing partners.
Dr Ramsdale has also served on a number of industry and government advisory groups and provided independent consulting advice to the biotechnology industry, academia and government.
She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
