Anthony Burgess has over 35 years of experience in corporate finance in Melbourne, London and New York.
Mr Burgess is chair of Flagstaff Partners, an independent corporate finance advisory firm, having been chief executive from 2010 to 2019. He was formerly global co-head of mergers and acquisitions at Deutsche Bank AG, based in London.
Mr Burgess is a director of Gandel Group, governor of The Ian Potter Foundation, chair of the Foundation for Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne, director of the Melbourne Business School, and a member of the board of management at the Melbourne Theatre Company.
