Tom Pickett has experience in a range of sectors including mining exploration, law, tourism and hotels, having held executive appointments in these areas for ASX-listed and private companies. He also has experience in the management of exploration activity across a number of projects in North Queensland for gold and copper.
Mr Pickett has been the executive chair of Cannindah Resources since May 2013. He was a non-executive director of Discovery Resources (now known as Aquis Entertainment), and was instrumental in the completion of this transaction from Discovery Resources' perspective before stepping off the board. Mr Pickett was also a non-executive director of Red Gum Resources which transitioned into MCS Services, a significant security services provider company.
Mr Pickett holds a Law degree from Bond University, and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment.
