Timothy Spooner had extensive background in audit, valuation and litigation support services accumulated over 25 years in the UK and Australia. He audited several large and ASX-listed companies and a range of not-for-profit organisations. Mr Spooner also provided corporate finance and company secretarial advice and had a detailed knowledge of the ASX listing rules. He advised on proposed acquisitions and disposals of businesses and undertook numerous valuation, litigation support, forensic accounting and due diligence assignments. Mr Spooner is the author of 'Business Purchase Review', which comprises some 300 matters to consider in respect of the sale and purchase of a business. He also wrote and presented seminars on business valuation. Mr Spooner passed away in December 2019 following a short battle with cancer.
